We hold four practice sessions per week.  There is no cost for members, and visitors are welcome (as noted below).

The Schedule:

Wednesday  7:45 - 10:00 pm   for all members
Cedar Hill Recreation Centre, 3220 Cedar Hill Road (at Finlayson)
The video library operates for the first hour of this practice.
An instructor is on hand for the first hour to help VBDS class students with their dancing.

Friday  7:00 - 9:30 pm   for all members
Les Passmore Centre, 286 Hampton Road
An instructor is on hand for the first hour to help VBDS class students with their dancing.

For members of Newcomer I and II classes:
(This practice takes place on Sunday class nights only.)
Sunday  7:15 - 8:15 pm
Les Passmore Centre, 286 Hampton Road
An instructor will be there to answer any questions and help students with their dancing.

For Silver level and above:
Sunday  10:00 - 11:00 am   Silver and up Latin
11:00 - noon   Silver and up Standard
Les Passmore Centre, 286 Hampton Road

Practice Guidelines:

Out-of-town guests are welcome to attend practices at no cost.

If you are a prospective member you are welcome to come for two practices; after that, you should join the Society to continue.

Bring a clean, non-marking pair of shoes to dance with; street shoes may damage the floor and make it harder for us to rent halls.

If you are dancing slowly, or stopping to practice a step, stay towards the centre of the floor, so that the faster dancers have room on the outside in which to move.
