Victoria Ballroom Dance Society is a not-for-profit group registered under the Society Act of British Columbia, Canada. The mission of the VBDS is to promote an active interest in ballroom dancing, as a recreational and social activity, as a performing art, and as a competition sport. Based in the city of Victoria, we offer classes and workshops, practice sessions, dances and competitions, and a weekly email bulletin. Join us -- we welcome people of all ages and abilities. News and Announcements:VBDS PARTY - WELCOME TO 2012! will be held Wednesday, January 25 at Cedar Hill Rec Centre (in lieu of our regular practice) for members, new and not-so-new. Come to meet, mingle, munch, and dance. Doors open 7:45 pm. Party begins at 8 pm but please come early to help set up.  |
