Victoria Ballroom Dance Society

Saturdays 8:30 to 11:00 pm at Saanich Commonwealth Place, 4636 Elk Lake Drive.
$8 members, $10 public at the door (higher if live music).
Usually a workshop precedes each dance from 7:15 to 8:15.
The cost is $5 for the workshop alone, or $2 if you are also attending the dance.
Doors do not open until 7:00.

While these dances are generally for Newcomer to Pre-Bronze level dancers, all are welcome.

Imperial Social Club Ballroom Style Dance

Normally, 2nd Saturday of each month, from 8 to 11:30
Chief & Petty Officers' Club, (just before Dockyard gates).
Cost: $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Membership is $15/yr prorated.

Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society

In addition to the Island Fantasy Ball and various dinner dances and special events throughout the year, NBDS has regularly scheduled dances:

1. First Friday of each month - ballroom dance at Bowen Park Auditorium in Nanaimo (on Bowen Road).
2. Third or Fourth Saturday of each month - ballroom dance at Nanoose Place Recreation Centre in Nanoose Bay (NW Bay Road).

The workshops start at 7:30 and the dances go from 8:30 to 11:30.  Cost is $6 for members (including VBDS members), and $10 for non-members; add an additional $2 for the workshop.
